What Beliefs Do You Hold About Yourself?

What are the internal beliefs you have about yourself? You know, the beliefs that you hold about who you are as a person.

Are they positive, like I am a good friend, a patient mother, great at marketing, an awesome photographer? Or are they negative, like I never follow through with anything, I’m terrible at sales, or I’m not good at math.

Your beliefs about yourself aren’t set in stone, and if they are negative, I’ll bet they aren’t even true. Sometimes we take something someone has told us, or a negative experience we’ve had and think that's the truth about who we are. We hold onto it and it becomes embedded in our brain, and can often hold us back from pursuing our dreams.

But really, who you are as a person are the thoughts you have about yourself. It doesn’t matter what other people think of you, only what you think of yourself. You get to decide what’s true about you!

If you can change those negative beliefs you have about yourself to positive, then you will have a better outlook on who you are. You’ll feel more confident in yourself, and when things get tough, you’ll believe in yourself more that you can figure it out.

What’s one negative belief you’ve held about yourself that you can change to positive?

Do you need support in changing those negative and limiting beliefs you have so you can feel confident in who you are and your purpose in the world? I have 6 more spots open for one on one coaching clients starting in February.
